We're delighted to announce that our sister site, Beyond Weddings, has been shortlisted in the Best in Luxury category at the inaugural International Travel & Tourism Awards, presented by World Travel Market.
This prestigious new awards scheme was created by industry leader and respected organisation WTM to recognise the very best of travel and tourism on a global scale. Beyond Weddings fought off fierce competition from destinations, tourist boards, private sector companies and individuals to be one of just four companies shortlisted globally in the Best in Luxury category, a reflection of our dedication to the very best hotels and wedding venues worldwide. The shortlist was selected by an esteemed panel of judges, including Marcelo Risi, UNWTO Chief of Communications, and Nick Pilbeam, Reed Travel, Divisional Director.
With 25 years in the wedding industry we were able to identify a significant change in the market with large numbers of brides and grooms searching online for ultra-luxury wedding destinations in London and overseas. The demand continues to grow and we are excited to be working with so many of the world's top hotels alongside some really unique, elegant privately owned venues to bring couples the ultimate choice for their wedding day.
The winner will be announced tonight in front of 500 industry professionals at the glamorous Tobacco Dock in London.
