The Venue
Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild is a stunning French seaside villa on the French Riviera. It is also is renowned as one of the most exceptional wedding venues.
Created by Baroness Beatrice de Rothschild and architect Aaron Messiah, this grand rose-coloured villa opened in 1912 after seven years of construction. Today, it remains an icon of French beauty and refinement. Surrounded by nine immaculate themed gardens, Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild also overlooks Beaulieu Bay and the Bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer, offering breathtaking coastal views.
Organising Julie and Mike’s wedding at the historical Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild was a truly magical experience, one that perfectly captured the essence of a South of France fairy tale. From the moment guests arrived, they were enveloped in an atmosphere of elegance and sophistication. We aimed to offer guests from abroad a true feeling of the French Riviera’s elegance, immersing them in an experience of timeless refinement.
Steeped in history, Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild captures the essence of French sophistication. Its grand interiors and serene gardens invite guests to relax and feel transported to another era. In addition, the French Gardens, featuring a replica of the Temple of Love from the Grand Trianon Gardens, provide a stunning and romantic backdrop for the day.

The Ceremony
Julie and Mike welcomed 100 close friends and family members to their wedding in France at Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. As the ceremony began, guests watched Julie, radiant and graceful, descend from the Temple of Love to meet her groom.
The couple exchanged vows beneath a sparkling crystal backdrop adorned with spray roses and orchids. Every element, from the bespoke S-shaped mirrored aisle stretching over the canal to the golden accents and floral details, reflected the bride’s elegance, the villa’s grandeur, and also the romance of the French Riviera.
The Wedding Breakfast
As the sun began to set over Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, heartfelt speeches echoed through the gardens. Laughter and emotion filled the air. The wedding breakfast followed, bringing loved ones together over exquisite French cuisine and fine wine. It was a joyful and relaxed moment, celebrating love, family, and connection beneath the soft glow of the Riviera evening.
The Entertainment
After dinner, guests gathered for a spectacular fireworks display over the bay of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. The night continued with an incredible after-party where Boyzlife performed the couple’s favourite songs, keeping everyone dancing under the stars.
