Knowsley Hall:
Located within the private Knowsley Estate in North West England, Knowsley Hall is one of the region’s most established stately home wedding venues.
The Grade II listed house has been owned by the Stanley family, the Earls of Derby, for more than 600 years and remains the private residence of the 19th Earl and Countess of Derby. Today, the Hall hosts a limited number of weddings each year on an exclusive use basis.

Accommodation
Knowsley Hall offers 17 bedrooms, including 15 en-suite rooms and two bedrooms with shared bathroom facilities.
A minimum of 15 bedrooms must be booked when hosting a wedding. Bedroom rates include a full English and continental breakfast based on two guests sharing, with prices starting from £230 per room for 2026.
With 17 bedrooms on site, couples can host close family and friends overnight, making the Hall particularly well suited to wedding weekends, pre-wedding dinners and post-wedding brunches.

Ceremony & Reception Spaces
The Stucco Ballroom is the principal ceremony and dining space. Created in the 18th century, it features ornate plasterwork, gold-leaf detailing and an original fireplace, with capacity for up to 132 guests.
The Walnut Drawing Room is often used for drinks receptions, while the terrace overlooks the lawns, lake and fountain and is particularly popular for canapés and photography.
The grand staircase and surrounding gardens provide some of the strongest backdrops on the estate for portraits and guest photographs.
Food and Guest Experience
Knowsley Hall offers two catering routes depending on guest numbers.
For intimate celebrations of up to 30 guests, the venue can provide in-house catering for smaller wedding events and breakfasts.
For larger weddings, couples can choose from approved catering partners:

Catering packages start from £125 per guest, subject to current pricing.
Location
The venue is within reach of major airports, rail stations and motorway networks, making travel straightforward for guests arriving from elsewhere in the UK or overseas.

Practical Information
High season runs from May to August and December. Low season runs from January to April and September to November.

Venue hire increases incrementally for 2027 and 2028 in line with the current brochure. Prices remain subject to change.
