Adare Manor is on the edge of picturesque Irish village close to Limerick, giving wedding guests the chance to enjoy an authentic Irish experience as soon as they step out of the sweeping parkland that surround this luxurious 5* hotel venue. It was chosen to be the host venue for the Engage! Summit for luxury international wedding planners, putting it firmly on the map and giving our team an opportunity to experience the legendary Adare Manor hospitality.
Dating back to 1860, Adare Manor possesses a strong sense of history combined with luxurious touches, making it perfect for a traditional wedding. The venue has recently undergone an impressive refurbishment, with the addition of several new luxury facilities as well as fully renovated guest rooms.
One of the most exciting developments is the magnificent new ballroom to enable large weddings to take place in a purpose built setting. It accommodates 350 guests, and we really liked the design, with a sweeping staircase leading to a reception space and cloakrooms, then into the banqueting hall. It is linked to the main hotel with a covered walkway, or has its own entrance from the main drive for those wanting to arrive in style by car or horsedrawn carriage.
For a more relaxed reception for 50-100 wedding guests, the Carriage House offers flexible wedding ceremony and reception space is in a less formal part of the grounds and has views across the parkland, and its own private gardens and cottage accommodation.
For those planning a small wedding, the manor house itself has a choice of beautiful reception rooms for up to 22 guests, or step outside into the formal gardens for an outdoor wedding ceremony or drinks reception, with the impressive facade of Adare Manor in the background.
For those able to arrive before the wedding day to relax, or stay a little longer, the swimming pool overlooking the River Mague is worth a visit, as well as the new spa.
To add to the Irish experience for your guests, enjoy Irish hospitality in Adare village at the Dunraven Arms Hotel, a short walk from Adare Manor’s gates.
