The majestic Gritti Palace is where history and culture are met with renewed Venetian style. A place of exceptional art and elegance, the restored Gritti Palace retains its reassuringly intimate feel. Overlooking the Grand Canal, this historical treasure has seven event rooms, both indoor and outdoor, meaning it is ideal for both intimate and grand celebrations customised perfectly for you and your partner.
Dating back to 1475 this noble palace has been meticulously restored to showcase its rich historical past while keeping the feel of a private residence. The Gritti is known for impassioned service, a delectable culinary experience and an intimate wellness haven. Weddings are meticulously planned and all of your wishes are granted by the trained event planners who can sort everything for your wedding day and can even arrange pre- and post-wedding massages to ensure the greatest relaxation. The seven event spaces available overlook the Grand Canal, creating an unforgettable backdrop for your special day. For an indoor wedding we particularly love the Salone Gritti, with antique paintings, glass chandeliers and rare ornaments, you can host 80 guests for a banquet and 100 for a reception. Alternatively rise in a private elevator to the Redentore Terrazza Suite Terrace, a beautiful rooftop space made with Istrian stone and containing a mini pool overlooking the Grand Hotel. This space can hold an intimate gathering of 40 for a banquet or 80 guests for a reception. You and your guests can fully immerse yourselves in the Italian culture before your wedding day by partaking in a cooking class at The Gritti Epicurean School.
