In 2016, we acquired an old Riad in the old medina of Rabat, Morocco. After extensive renovations, we restored it to its original grandeur, faithfully respecting its founding footprint and artistry. Its interiors reflect a perfect marriage of traditional Moroccan artisanal craftsmanship and materials with a contemporary design and furniture. Dar Mayshad opened its doors at the end of 2017 and has quickly become an elegant venue for cultural events and a living experience for travellers and the Rabat community. Dar Mayshad, [“Dar” meaning “home”], offers exclusive hospitality - combining genuine authenticity and luxury – while serving creative menus for lunch and dinner, and hosting musical and cultural soirees and events.
