AMANGALLA is steeped in history and is colonial in style. The venue is located at the heart of the 17th century Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage in the heart of Galle on the south coast of Sri Lanka. The hotel exudes an air of grandeur amidst Dutch heritage and pillared verandahs. The varied spaces imbue a sense of luxury and privacy, creating the perfect setting for a traditional wedding party of up to 80 guests. The area offers beautiful beaches, serene temples, scenic countryside, tea plantations, rainforests and quaint villages, as well as, the wildlife of southwest Sri Lanka. A breathtaking venue and location for a destination wedding. For wedding ceremonies, a minimum of 23 rooms must be reserved in order for the resort to be exclusively yours for hosting the event. The resort sleeps up to 67 guests with extra beds in 7 rooms, as a result, can cater up to 80 to 100 guests for a function, though 80 guests will be the ideal maximum.
